Securing the future prosperity of Southampton as a city of opportunity, the vision for Mayflower Quarter will link Southampton to the waterfront.
Mayflower Quarter spans 84 hectares and is set in the heart of the city centre. It is also the city's largest site being considered for redevelopment potential alongside development of the new Southampton City Vision Local Plan.
The masterplan for Mayflower Quarter will develop a distinctive environment that responds to the challenges of climate change by better connecting the city centre and establishing a sustainable new urban neighbourhood, creating an enhanced quality of life for present and future generations that is greener, healthier and fairer.
As lifestyles, work and social activities change, it has never been more important to understand the current and future needs of Southampton’s residents, businesses and investors.
Tell us your views on specific challenges and opportunities you feel the masterplan should address and what you think the area should be like by 2040.
